PEOPLE INELIGIBLE FOR PERMANENT MAKEUP / CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Any person under 18 years old

Diabetes (Medical clearance is required.)

Undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor first)

Viral infections/ diseases/ sickness (flu/cold)

Epilepsy

Pacemaker or heart problems

Had an organ transplant

Psoriasis near the treated area or skin irritations such as acne, sunburn, eczema, or rashes

Botox in the last 3 weeks

Accutane or steroids in the last year

On blood thinners/heart medication

Has thyroid/graves’ disease (medication may cause pigment not to retain properly)

HIV/hepatitis, shingles, skin cancer, skin diseases, glaucoma

AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolor your permanent makeup.

 

PRE-APPOINTMENT RESTRICTIONS:

Please read carefully. The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best state possible for your permanent makeup experience.

Avoid direct sunlight at least 3 days before a procedure.

Do not tan 2 weeks prior or have sunburned skin.

Do not have Botox at least 3 weeks prior.

Do not have any type of facial/peel/laser 2-3 weeks prior to a procedure.

Do not work out heavily right before the procedure.

Do not wax, pluck, tweeze, thread or tint eyebrows within 3 days before procedure.

Do not consume alcohol 24-48 hours before a procedure.

Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. These products make you bleed, making it difficult to implant pigment.  If on prescription blood thinners, I will still treat you, but please be aware that excess bleeding may impact the pigment retention.

Please discontinue Vitamin A/ Retinol products one month prior to appointment.

Are you scheduled for or considering vision correction surgery? No procedures can be performed 1 month prior to laser surgery and three months after.

Do you have any medical condition that has you presently in the care of a doctor or believe. If yes they may need medical clearance

Please do not book an appointment before any major events, like a vacation, social event, or wedding.
