DARK LIPS COLOR CORRECTION
Dark Lips Color Neutralization — it is a sequence of procedures for those who has dark lips or lips with bluish color.
For the first procedure you do not choose the color of neutralization – permanent makeup artist determines what color needs to be used depending on the color of your lips. If your lips have more grey, brown or purple shade the permanent makeup artist will create an optimal mix of pigments for brightening. After the procedure your lips will gain a pink/peach color that will look natural.
As soon as lips are fully healed (in about 8-10 weeks), permanent makeup artist will input the color you choose.
There are two main reasons why people have dark lips. First is genetics or ethnicity. We offer a variety of pigments that are especially recommended for clients with ethnicity such as African American, Indian, Latin American and Asian. Second is some kind of trauma to the lips. For example, lack of vitamins, hormonal dis-balance, some type of medication, too much caffein or smoking, etc.
Some people cannot be good candidates for lip correction procedure. Those who has hyperpigmentation can end up with darker lips after the procedure instead because the trauma of the procedure can lead to even darker lips already reach with melanin skin. Thus, the lip neutralization procedure can do more harm than good if your lips are hyperpigmented.
Lip blush can last up to five years, however, lip blush on the dark lips does not last that long. It lasts for about1-2 years. After that the color needs to be touched up to prevent dark spots from appearing.
